Frontpage: A new version of SimpleDifferentSince December 29th, a new version of our software has been powering SimpleDifferent.
Connect to your account to discover the improvements and innovations.
The improvements include: added captions for the pictures, Page optimization with metadata for Google, a smoother step-by-step process for your invitees as well as many other improvements.
Progress always has risks. If you encounter a problem with this new version, write to us!
Improvement: A fully renovated text editorThe copy&paste function has been re-written to facilitate the input of text from other web pages and more specifically from word processors such as Word or OpenOffice. From now on, the Bold and Italic commands will act normally. The old text editor has some unpleasant surprises when doing this. We have gotten rid of these.
Discovery: Publish one or two Starter sites, it's free
- Being a SiteMaster means you own a SimpleDifferent account.
- A SiteMaster, like you, can manage as many websites as they wish in a single account.
- However! If your account already contains 2 free Starter sites, you won't be able to create a third one: you have to upgrade one of your Starter sites into a Pro site first.
- To upgrade to a Pro site: click the “Pay and Renew” tab in the “Account Preferences” panel. Choose the Starter site you want upgrade to Pro and validate your order. You can make the 30 US$ payment through our secure payment system, provided by Paypal.
- Click the “Create a new site” tab again: you will now be able to add a new Starter site to your account.
- Click the upper right icon in the editor: the “Account Preferences” panel will slide down. Click the “Create a new site” tab.
- Choose a name for this new site and the language that you will use to write it. Next, click the “Create website” button. Done! A local menu will show up in the upper left corner of the editor. It will help you navigate between your account's sites.
At home: Welcome David!SimpleDifferent has expanded our technical team with the addition of David, the newly appointed chief technical officer. The improvements that have taken place these past few weeks have been conducted under his leadership.
